Welding

All hydrogen and oxygen on-site generators of the series MERCURY are ideal for all welding processes.

The oxy-hydrogen flame is generated through the combustion of the hydrogen (fuel) and oxygen (oxidizing) gas produced by the MERCURY on-site generators.

The mixture of both pure gases generates the flame, which is capable of cutting and welding metals, glass and thermoplastics. The mixture of the gases takes place only at the moment of the application.

The  on-site generator MERCURY makes obsolete the use of acetylene, propane, oxygen cylinders (which represent a high coefficient of application risk) and other combustible gases.

ADVANTAGES OF THIS TECHNOLOGY

Ecology and Environment : No toxic gases derives from the combustion – ONLY WATER.

Safety Standards : The mixture of the gases happens at the moment of the application.                                                                   NO GAS ACCUMULATION or DEPOSIT – ZERO EXPLOSION RISK.

Economy and practicality: The H2 & O2 are instantly ready for use (less than one minute before first start). Flame temperature is almost 3,000 ° C compared to the 1,600 ° C from traditional welding tools.
            Advantages:
                         – Reduced working time for same job
                         – No waste of time for cylinder provision
                         – No working down-times
                         – No risks due to handling of pressurized cylinders

Health of welders: Only WATER VAPOR is generated by the combustion of the gases.  Thus, WORKERS HEALTH IS PREVENTED and AIR QUALITY OF THE WORKPLACE IS IMPROVED.
